The auction:

Extremely
rare 1970s Carillo Italian race bike that has been stripped,
powdercoated and lacquered for a high quality finish. The parts used to
rebuild the bike are a combination of vintage and new. It looks and
rides like a new bike, extremely fast and smooth, and is a beautiful
object to own.. Spec as follows.

Frame - 56cm x 56cm Lugged Italian 'Carillo' c1979 with Reynolds 531 tubing suitable for 5ft 6 upto 5ft 9.

Gears - Shimano 600 Arabesque shifters, front and rear mechs,

Shimano 600 brake levers with Universal calipers. Fitted with new cables inner and outer and high quality brake pads.

Chainset - Shimano

Pedals - Lyotard alloy

Handlebars / stem = 3TTT Criterium and 3 TTT Black stem. Wrapped with Charge brown vinyl tape.

Seat stem - SR laprade 27.2mm lightweight

Saddle = brown leather Brooks swift with copper rivets.

Brand new old stock Reynolds 531 decals on the downtube and forks.

Wheels - Rear = Campagnolo Mexico 68 with 6 speed cassette Front = matching but unbranded with shimano hub.
